Let’s Dance

OK I’m sorry friends. I’m sorry that my blog about my journey with cancer has been so damn upbeat. I’m so sorry to be bringing such good news all the time. I’m sorry to not be posting a cumbersome tome on the meaning of life as it is changed by illness. Hey, maybe that’ll come later but right now I’m gonna stick to what I know. I promise a good long one soon but for now I wanted to give you all reason to dance a little as I am.
I got a call from my oncologist yesterday. The results of the final test, my oncotype test, came back. This is the test that was done on my tumor’s genetics to determine it’s likely hood to show up later in scary places that aren’t so easily removed. Places like my brain, heart and liver. A test resulting in low likelihood means no chemo. Well, guess what…

NO CHEMO! NO CHEMO! NO CHEMO! NO CHEMO! NO CHEMO! NO CHEMO! NO CHEMO!

I am so SO fortunate to not have to endure this.

So let’s commence to jiggling!
